Project Server (PMIS) as a PMO Framework

There are many strategies for defining a PMO. Some organizations build the PMO first and then implement software to manage it. Our strategy is to implement a project information management system (PMIS) first (such as Microsoft Project) and use it as a framework implementing a PMO. This strategy provides users with something to hold on to as they learn the principles of PMO. Depending on your organization need, we configure and train your staff with the PMIS that provides the highest ROI.
